How push-notification advertising looks in
different browsers
OS/Browser: Windows 7, 8, 10 Pro / Chrome Logo: 192 x 192 Banner: 492 x 328 Title: 30 symbols Description: 45 symbols
Default push-notification on Windows 7, 8, 10
Pro, sent through Chrome looks like this. Big banner (Rich push) has default size, but
description text may be partially hidden.
OS/Browser: Windows 10 Home / Chrome Logo: 192 x 192 Banner: 492 x 245 Title: 30 symbols Description: 45 symbols
That's how same push-notification looks on
Windows 10 Home coming from Chrome. Big banner goes to the top and is being cut significantly.
Text stays the same though, but dots appear for some reason.
OS/Browser: Windows 7, 8, 10 Home, 10 Pro / Opera Logo: 192 x 192 Title: 30 symbols Description: up to 27 symbols
Opera doesn't send big banner and shows itself
like push-notification source. Part of the description may also get cut.
OS/Browser: Windows 7, 8, 10 Home, 10 Pro / Firefox Logo: 192 x 192 Title: 30 symbols Description: up to 27 symbols
Firefox doesn't send big banner also and places
title above the icon. Weird. User will probably see the description but can miss the title.
OS/Browser: Android / Chrome Logo: 192 x 192 Banner: 492 x 225 Title: 30 symbols Description: 45 symbols
Chrome on Android shows almost perfect
push-notification without any changes. Big banner cuts a bit depending on screen size.
Push-notifications in Chrome on MacOS has "Close"
and "Settings" buttons. That may result into description cut. Full text will become available
only after clicking on push.
